India’s Manu Attri and Sumeeth Reddy clinched the 2016 Men’s Doubles title after beating the Canadian pai of Adrian Liu and Toby Ng 21-8 21-14 in the final on Sunday.
The opening game saw both pairs reach a deadlock at the 3-3 mark, but the Indian duo assumed total control of proceedings from there on, winning points at ease to not allow their opponents any space to settle down, eventually clinching the game 21-8.

A similar tale unfolded in the second game as well with the Indian duo not keeping the advantage in tact, not allowing the home favourites any room to seiz the advantage and eventually winning the game 21-14.
This was India’s second title of the day after Sai Praneeth had earlier won the Men’s Singles crown after beating Lee Hyun II in straight games.
The triumph will no doubt come as a big boost for the Indian pairing with just over a month left for the start of the Rio Olympics.
