The second day of the Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2024 (team event) came to an end. A total of 15 nations are competing in this event in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Group A
Moving to Group A, South Korea locked horns with Chinese Taipei on Saturday, June 29, and came out victorious 4-1. Earlier on Friday, June 28, Chinese Taipei bagged a 4-1 win over Thailand.
In the points table, South Korea is leading with one point after a 32-point difference. On the other hand, Chinese Taipei has also secured one point and is at the second rank. Thailand is holding the wooden spoon.
Group B
Shifting our focus to Group B, Malaysia stunned Kazakhstan by 5-0 in the first game on Saturday. Later, the United Arab Emirates defeated Macau 5-0.
Malaysia is leading the standings with two points after securing wins in both encounters it has played. UAE is at the second rank with two points after bagging two consecutive wins. Macau and Kazakhstan are in the third and fourth ranks, respectively, and are yet to win a game in the Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2024.
Group C
In Group C, Indonesia bagged a dominating 4-1 win over Vietnam in the first game of the day. On the other hand, India stunned the Philippines by 3-2 in the other game of the day.
Indonesia is leading the Group C standings with two consecutive wins, bagging two points, while India is at the second rank with two wins in two games, picking up two points. The Philippines and Vietnam are yet to bag wins and are at the third and fourth ranks, respectively.
Group D
In Group D, China steamrolled Singapore 5-0 on Saturday while Japan bagged a 3-2 win over Hong Kong in the other game of the group.
China is currently leading the standings with two consecutive wins, bagging two points. Japan, on the other hand, picked up the second rank with two valuable points. Hong Kong and Singapore are yet to bag wins in the Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2024.
