India’s P.C Thulasi bowed out in the opening round of the Canada Open on Wednesday, losing 21-8 21-11 to Yui Hashimoto of Japan in 33 minutes on Wednesday.
Game 1 saw the Hashimoto, totally dominate proceedings, as she raced away to an 11-1 lead and then put further pressure on Thulasi by continuously winning points at a stretch to eventually win 21-8.
The second game followed a similar pattern as Hashimoto completely tore apart her opponent to eventually win 21-11.
