New Delhi, April 3 (IANS): India’s PV Sindhu has dropped a place to No. 10 in the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) women’s singles rankings released Thursday.
The 2011 World Championship bronze medallist didn’t help her cause as she lost her opener at the $250,000 India Open Super Series to Chinese World No. 3 Shixian Wang here Wednesday.
Saina Nehwal, on the other hand, has retained her No. 8 position.
Parupalli Kashyap has risen a place to No. 23 to once again become India’s highest ranked men’s singles shuttler as Kidambi Srikanth’s dismal performances at the All-England, Swiss Open and India Open have seen him drop three places to No. 25.
