Sai Praneeth continued his fine run of form as he marched his way into the second round of the 2015 US Open Grand Prix Gold after beating Nicholas Waller of the United States of America 21-11 21-12 in the opening round on Tuesday.
Game 1 saw the Indian take a 3-1 lead after which he continued to pile on the pressure on his American opponent. He won a string of successive points at different intervals in the game to take it 21-11.

Game 2 saw a similar story unfold, as the youngster, who was recently crowned as champion at the 2015 Sri Lankan Open, dominated proceedings to win 6 consecutive points and romp home to a straight games victory in 24 minutes.
Praneeth will take on Christian Thomsen of Denmark in the next round.
