Germany’s Juliane Schenk continues to hold the number three slot, while China’s Wang Yihan is at number 5.
India’s top ranked men’s singles player Parupalli Kashyap, who reached the pre-quarterfinals of the World Badminton Championships in Guangzhou, stays put at 14th spot.
He had turned out for Banga Beats in the much-hyped Indian Badminton League (IBL).
Malaysia’s Lee Chong Wei continues to the hold the numero uno spot in the men’s singles category. The Chinese duo of Chen Long and Du Pengyu retain the number two and three spots respectively.
PV Sindhu, who bagged a bronze at the recent World Championship, remains at 10th spot.
Among the other Indian men, RMV Gurusaidutt stayed put at 20th spot.

Among the Indian women, Arundhati Pantawane remained at 52nd spot, while PC Thulasi remained at 74th spot.
Tanvi Lad retained her last week’s ranking of 83 and the script folded the same way for Sayali Gokhale, who remained at 97th spot.
In men’s doubles, Pranaav Chopra and Akshay Dewalkar remained at 38th spot, while Tarun Kona and Arun Vishnu are at 43rd spot.
Ashwini Ponnappa and Pradnya Gadre are placed 29th, while Aparna Balan and Sikki Reddy are at 45th spot in women’s doubles.
In the mixed doubles category, Aparna Balan and Arun Vishnu are highest placed at 44th spot.
