The Players' Weekend has returned to the MLB after a five-year hiatus, following its first adoption from 2017-19. The celebration will continue for three days from Friday to Sunday. Unlike its previous version, there will be no special uniforms with nicknames on the back, but players will wear special caps apart from their custom-designed equipment.

Therefore, the MLB Players' Weekend provides a splendid opportunity for MLB stars to showcase their individuality and ideas, as well as a platform to promote the charities they support to a wide audience.

Here, we take a look at the 10 best bats and sneakers spotted at the 2024 MLB Players' Weekend

Ten best bats & sneakers spotted at MLB Players' Weekend

#10 Harrison Bader

Harrison Bader used a custom-designed bat, making the piece of wood resemble a stick of crayon. The pink color of the bat, along with the worn-out look of the lapel, gave it a really authentic look.

#9 Freddie Freeman

Freddie Freeman kept it simple by bringing three bats to the dugout on Friday at the MLB Players' Weekend, with each one having one of his son's names inscribed on it.

Each bat had #Maxstrong printed on them, with Feeman using red and blue colored cleats in the game for his youngest child, Maximus, who's recovering from a rare neurological disease.

#8 Chicago White Sox

The Chicago White Sox players offered a wide variety of themes on Players Weekend. Among them was a tribute to basketball legend Michael Jordan and another one for Buzz Lightyear from the Toy Story franchise.

#7 Aaron Judge

Aaron Judge paid homage to his alma mater Lindon High Scool and their baseball team by using a blue and gold colored bat with their names on it. The New York Yankees superstar also used a special pair of blue and gold Nike cleats on Friday.

#6 Brandon Marsh

The Philadelphia Phillies paid tribute to their young core of players like Alec Bohm, Bryson Stott and Brandon Marsh with the Philly Daycare bat. Marsh also used a bat to represent his unmistakable image with the flowing beard and headband.

#5 Paul Skenes

Paul Skenes posted an image with two pairs of footwear for the Players' Weekend. The first was a pair of sneakers in the bright gold color of the Pittsburgh Pirates with the number 15 on the side.

The other was a pair of camoflauge-printed cleats, showing his support for the Gary Sinise Foundation.

#4 Josh Rojas

Josh Rojas arguably had the most intricately designed bat on Friday. The Phillies infielder had a red bat with gold details and a roaring lion on the barrel, which is inspired by the talisman he wears around his neck.

#3 Jarren Duran

Jarren Duran was back in the Boston Red Sox lineup after serving a two-game suspension for using a homophobic slur on a heckling fan. Interestingly, Duran used a bat with an artwork of the Statue of Liberty on Friday night.

#2 Shohei Ohtani

Shohei Ohtani took the field on Friday wearing a custom-designed pair of New Balance cleats with images of his dog, Decoy, as well as his name printed on them. The pair had Decoy in different poses on each foot, too.

#1 Bryce Harper

Bryce Harper brought a pair of bats of Friday filled with crayon scribblings to show his love for his family and kids. In of the bats, Harper also sported the image of Pablo Sanchez, a beloved character from the Backyard Baseball games.
