Aaron James Judge has been representing the New York Yankees in Major League Baseball (MLB) as their centerfielder. Having first appeared on the scene on August 13, 2016, he has since then become one of the integral players of the team in the MLB. Notably, he was picked by the New York Yankees with the #32nd overall pick in the 2013 MLB draft.

Aaron Judge nicknamed "Baj" hails from Linden, California, United States and played varsity baseball at Linden High School before his MLB career. He also pursued a college baseball at California State University, Fresno, and also played collegiate summer baseball at Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL) for the Brewster Whitecaps. Since he made his MLB debut, Aaron Judge is in his ninth year with the New York Yankees and a six-time MLB All-Star player as of 2024.

Aaron Judge’s MLB Draft

Aaron Judge has originally been drafted twice in the MLB. He was first drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 31st round of the 2010 MLB Draft after his high school career at Linden High School as per Baseball Reference. However, he refused to sign up with the team. He instead chose college baseball and represented the Fresno State Bulldogs at California State University, Fresno. When he was drafted for a second time by the New York Yankees as the #32nd overall pick in 2013, he accepted it ans started his professional baseball career.

Aaron Judge’s MLB Debut

Aaron Judge­ had his MLB debut on August 13, 2016 with the New York Yankees against the Tampa Bay Rays. He was notable for hitting a home run off Matt Andriese in his first-ever MLB-at-bat. However, his debut season ended early when he suffered two right oblique strain on September 13, 2016, against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
