Alex Bregman's wife Reagan reacts to Astros star husband blasting homer in four straight games

Alex Bregman and the Houston Astros are on the rise and the All-Star slugger helped his team make it two consecutive wins against the Tampa Bay Rays with a 3-2 victory on Tuesday. Houston eventually swept the series 3-0 on Wednesday.

The two-time World Series champion got hold of Rays pitcher Shane Baz at the top of the fifth inning for a solo home run on Tuesday. While it was his 19th home run of the season, Bregman also registered a career-best four-game home run streak with the moonshot.

Alex Bregman's wife, Reagan Elizabeth, celebrated her All-Star husband's feat by sharing a post on her Instagram story. She captioned the post with hearts on fire emojis.

Reagan met the Astros star in Houston at a group dinner. The pair started dating and were in a long-distance relationship before Alex Bregman proposed to her on a trip to Colorado. The duo got engaged in January 2020 and married in December of the same year in a private ceremony due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

Alex and Reagan welcomed a baby boy, Knox Samuel, on Aug. 1, 2022, and he loves accompanying his mother to watch Bregman rep the Astros uniform at Minute Maid Park.

Alex Bregman records a quite night in Astros' series sweep

Bregman's solo home run gave the Astros a 2-1 lead in the game before Jeremy Pena gave Hoston some breathing space with his solo shot in the following inning on Tuesday. The two-time All-Star also extended his hitting streak to eight games after a three-hit game.

However, Bregman wasn't able to extend his streak in the series finale on Wednesday as he failed to register a hit in his four at-bats. Despite his quiet night, the Astros made it eight wins in eight to sweep the Rays. This was their second successive series sweep, following the one against the Boston Red Sox and third series win on the trot.

Bregman's hot streak has helped the Astros stake a claim at the top of the American League West after a glaringly dull start to the season which threatened their place in the postseason. However, the Astros seem poised to continue their postseason streak and will be hoping to make the ALCS for a record eighth consecutive season.
