In a video shared on Twitter, All-Star Alex Bregman was seen weighing in on the Houston Astros' push to repeat as World Series champions in 2023.

The Astros won the World Series title in 2022 against the Philadelphia Phillies with a final score of 4-2. The victory marked the team's second World Series win, the first being in 2017 against the Los Angeles Dodgers. If Houston is able to repeat in 2023, they will become the first team since the New York Yankees in 2000 to do so.

Referring to the Astros aspiring to create history by repeating the epic feat previously done by the Yankees, Bregman said:

"It's honestly so cool to have the opportunity to do that. Every single person at clubhouse is motivated by it. We can't wait to get down to spring training and get started. There's a long way to go, but we're definitely very excited to be able to have that opportunity.
"But you know what? This team is built to win championships, as you've seen, and the character and makeup in that room, the guys are ready to go."

Alex Bregman made his MLB debut in 2016 and has established himself as one of the star players of his generation. Bregman played a large role in the World Series 2022 during Game 5 when he gave the Astros a 13-12 victory and a 3-2 series lead with a walk-off single.
