Alexander Emmanuel Rodriguez, also known by his epithet ‘A-Rod’ was a former American Professional baseball player of Major League Baseball. He played the position of shortstop and third baseman. He was active in the Major League from 1994 to 2016.

He is the most current player to play in an MLB game at the age of eighteen as of 2021.

A-Rod was the first overall selection of the 1993 MLB draft. The legendary player holds many accolades and awards to his name. A-Rod is a 14 times All-Star, ten times Silver Slugger Award winner, three times AL MVP, and a World Series Championship title winner.
