Cal Ripken Jr., Dale Murphy, and Keith Hernandez were Rodriguez's childhood idols in baseball, and the New York Mets were his favorite team.

Aside from his contributions to the field, Rodriguez has established himself as a successful businessman and philanthropist. He currently holds the position of chairman and CEO of A-Rod Corp and chairman of Pre­sidente bee­r. More­over, he exe­mplifies philanthropy by engaging in charitable endeavors. To add to his accomplishments, he proudly holds part owne­rship of the Minnesota Timberwolve­s in the National Basketball Association (NBA).
