The Atlanta Braves started out as the Boston Red Stockings in 1871 and then went through several name changes over the years until they based themselves in Atlanta, Georgia, United States and became the Atlanta Braves in 1966. More importantly, they are notable for being the only baseball team in the league that has played every season since the game was formed. Notably, the team has gone on to win four World Series titles. They have also been National League (NL) Champions six times and won the NL East Division title eight times as of 2024. Furthermore, they play their home games at Truist Park in Cumberland, Georgia and have witnessed their own share of great talents ranging from Chipper Jones, Hank Aaron and Phil Niekro from the past to Ronald Acuna Jr., Matt Olson, Spencer Strider and Max Fried in the present among others.
