The Baltimore Orioleswere formed in 1894 as Milwaukee Brewers and kept the name until they relocated to St. Louis and became the St. Louis Browns from 1902-1953. They relocated once more, this time to Baltimore in 1954 and became known as the Baltimore Orioles. Along the way, they have picked up three World Series Championships (1966, 1970 and 1983) and seven American League (AL) championships (1944, 1966, 1969, 1979, 1971 and 1983). Brandon Michael Hyde hails from Santa Rosa, California, United States and has been managing the Baltimore Orioles for six years as of 2024. Having started his career as a baseball player, he played varsity baseball and college baseball and also played in the minor leagues for the Chicago White Sox. Post his career as a player, he transitioned to coaching minor league beams before he was chosen as the minor league infield coordinator for the Florida Marlins in 2010. He also served as the bench coach and (interim manager for a game in 2011) of the team between 2010-11. He later served as the first base coach and bench coach for the Chicago Cubs between 2014-18 and won the World Series with the team in 2016. Notably, he became a full-time manager of the Baltimore Orioles from the 2019 season and was also declared as the AL Manager of the Year in 2023.
