Carlos Correa is a tale­nted Puerto Rican professional base­ball shortstop, currently playing for the Minnesota Twins of Major Le­ague Baseball (MLB). The Astros promoted Correa to the major leagues on June 8, 2015. Against the Chicago White Sox, he made his debut in a 3-1 loss, going 1 for 4 with an RBI single off of Chris Sale. On June 9, Correa blasted his first MLB home run off Zach Duke and swiped his first base of the season. He narrowly trailed Rickey Henderson by 21 days to become the second-youngest player to steal three bases in his ninth game in a century. Correa batted 14 in his first ten games, setting a new team record for most hits.
