Carson Benge is a collegiate level sports athlete in the sport of baseball, playing for the Oklahoma State Cowboys baseball team which represents Oklahoma State University. He is a talented player who contributes both as an outfielder and a pitcher for the team.

Carson first joined the team in 2022, but unfortunately, he had to be redshirted that year as he was undergoing Tommy John surgery. In the 2023 season, he made his collegiate debut. Throughout the season, he pitched to a 6.69 ERA over 35 innings and appeared in 59 games, primarily in right field. He played in a total of 58 games, starting in 52 of them, showing his versatility and dedication to the sport.

Carson also received numerous honors in the 2023 season. He collected Freshman All-American honors from the NCBWA, was a semifinalist for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award, and was named to the All-Big 12 First Team as a utility player, earning second-team honors as an outfielder. He was also a unanimous selection to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team, solidifying his place as a valuable player for the Oklahoma State Cowboys baseball team.

Furthermore, he was drafted in the 13th round of the 2017 MLB Draft by the Boston Red Sox and has played in MLB till 2019 before entering into the voluntarily retired list.
