After a successful stint in school, Chase enrolled to play college baseball for the Georgia Southern Eagles before transferring to Tennessee for his sophomore season. He won the Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Year honor that year and entered the 2023 season as the clear top arm in the Draft.

Chase Dollander was twice voted the Perfect Game Preseason All-American in 2019 and 2020. He was also the No. 8 ranked player in Georgia by PBR Georgia. He was selected to the First Team All-Columbia County in 2019 on the back of a great season that saw him end up with a 6-1 record, a 0.79 ERA, and 71 strikeouts in 61+2/3 innings as a junior in 2019. That same form earned him three All-Region selections from 2018-2020.
