Known as “The North Siders”, the Chicago Cubs represent the National League (NL) in Major League Baseball (MLB). The team was first formed in 1876 and went on through several name changes till they adopted their name as the Chicago Cubs in 1903. They have been a part of both the NL East Division and the NL Central Division.

The Chicago Cubs have been using the Wrigley Field as their home ground since 1916. The team ranked #2nd in the NL Central Division with a record of 83-79-0 in the 2023 season. They are also notable for their rivalry with the Milwaukee Brewers, commonly known as the I-94 series. The team has gotten a new manager in the form of Craig Counsell since the 2024 season. The team’s players are notable for sporting white, red and blue colored jerseys during their games. Clark the Cub serves as the mascot for the team.
