Pedro Orlando Grifol has become the former manager of the Chicago White Sox in Major League Baseball (MLB). Hailing from Miami, Florida, United States, Grifol was notable for being the Florida High School Baseball Player of the Year in 1988. The year prior, he had also earned a silver medal with Team USA at the 1987 World Junior Baseball Championship.
