The Cincinnati Reds are in their sixth year under the leadership of their manager David Michael Bell. Being a third-generational former MLB player himself, David Bell had represented the Cleveland Indians (twice), St. Louis Cardinals, Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers in his career. Moving on, he turned his attention to coaching and started out with minor league teams like Carolina Mudcats and Louisville Bats before becoming a coach for major league teams like the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals from in the 2010s.
