Colin Houck is an American college shortstop who has committed to playing college baseball for Mississippi State University.

Born on September 30, 2004, in Lilburn, Georgia, Houck attended Parkview High School where he was a member of both the baseball and football team. A successful football quarterback too back in the day, Houck eventually rejected football to follow the path of baseball.

Named a preseason All-American entering his senior baseball season, Houck batted .487 with eight home runs, 50 RBIs, 56 runs scored, and 16 stolen bases as a senior and was named the Georgia Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year. His deadly combination of strength and bat speed has gifted him the power of being a natural scorer for the team. He also has the potential to manage offense and defense in the third base for the team.

Currently ranked 14 in the 2023 MLB draft, Houck is widely expected to be the next big phenomenon out of Parkview HS which in the past has produced baseball stars like Matt Olson.
