Harry Ralston Black, also known as “Bud”, is in his second managerial stint of his career as of 2024. A former baseball player himself, he started his career at Mark Morris High School and then played college baseball at the San Diego State University. Notably, Black was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 1979 and began his MLB career with the team in 1981. He was also a part of the Kansas City Royals, Cleveland Indians (two tenures), Toronto Blue Jays and San Francisco Giants during his playing career.
