It was a year to forget for Eddie Rosario in 2024. The veteran outfielder struggled to produce at the level that many have grown accustomed to throughout his career. In 91 games split between the Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves, Rosario posted a disappointing .175 batting average with 10 home runs, 35 RBIs and 9 stolen bases.

The 33-year-old outfielder remains an unrestricted free agent seeking his next contract. Although he may need to settle on a one-year deal, or even a minor league deal, Eddie Rosario should be able to secure a new contract before the new season, based on his track record of success in the Majors.

A World Series champion and NLCS MVP, Rosario has been a solid source of batting average and home runs throughout his career and could be an asset to his next team as a depth bat. It will be interesting to see where he winds up, however, he could be an afforable, low-risk option for clubs heading into the new year.

Here's a closer look at 3 potential landing spots for Eddie Rosario in free agency

#1 - Los Angeles Angels

The Los Angeles Angels could be an intriguing landing spot for Rosario, especially if the team is committed to removing Mike Trout from the outfield. The veteran may not be the greatest defender of all-time, but he has been steady throughout his career and could provide the Halos with some additional veteran depth.

The Angels front office has been busy bringing in veterans to bolster the roster aound Mike Trout, including the likes of Jorge Soler, Travis d'Arnaud and Kevin Newman. Eddie Rosario could be an interesting addition to a squad looking to improve upon a disappointing 2024 campaign.

#2 - Boston Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox have done a tremendous job this offseason bolstering their pitching staff, however, when it comes to the lineup, they have certainly been lacking. While the team has been linked to a number of stars, they have yet to land a big bat in free agency.

Eddie Rosario may not be the sexiest name for fans to celebrate, however, he could provide some quality at-bats to help try and fill the void left by Tyler O'Neill's departure in free agency.

#3 - Minnesota Twins

Who doesn't love a good reunion? Some of Eddie Roasrio's best seasons came with the Minnesota Twins and bringing him back into the fold as a depth outfielder could be a smart move. The Twins said goodbye to a few outfielders this offseason, including Max Kepler and Alex Kiriloff. So, bringing back Rosario on an afforable contract could make sense.
