Huff became addicted to Adderall late in his career and contemplated suicide after battling depression. He also gambled a tremendous amount of money.
“I’d leave my family at home, my newborn babies, my wife, and I’d be out gambling till 4 or 5 in the morning, p**sing away tens of thousands of dollars, high as a kite," shared Huff.

Huff tied the knot with Barbara "Baubi" Heaton in 2007 and they share two sons. However, Barbara separated from Huff after five years of marriage owing to his reckless habits.
In 12 years in MLB, Aubrey Huff played for the Tampa Bay Rays, Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, and San Francisco Giants. With the Giants, Huff won two World Series titles (2010, 2012).
