Framber Valdez is a Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher for the Houston Astros. He was born in the Dominican Republic on November 19, 1993. Valdez is called "La Grasa" by his contemporaries due to his sense of style. Framber Valdez signed with the Houston Astros in 2015 as an international free agent. He made his professional debut the same season with the DSL Astros. He went to play for Greeneville Astros, Tri City ValleyCats, Quad Cities, River Bandits and Lancaster in 2016. He made his Major League debut on August 21, 2018, winning with a 4+1/3 inning pitching save.

He has had quite a remarkable career up until now, he won the World Series with the Houston Astros in 2022 and was also named to the All-Star Game and the All-MLB second team in the same year. He earned his second All-Star Game selection the following year.

On November 19, 1993, in Palenque, Dominican Republic, Framber Valdez was born to Santa Delfina Pinales de Valdez and Jose Antonio.

His parents worked very hard. Because his father owned a building company in the Dominican community of "Sabana Grande de Palenque," Framber had a passion for houses and the ability and vision to build them from the ground up. When he was growing up, his parents couldn't afford to live a lavish lifestyle, so they battled to raise their four children. After taking care of their child, Framber now helps his father enjoy the opulent life he was denied. Valdez now supports and fulfils every need of his parents.

Framber Valdez is his parents' second child and has three siblings as well. Raised in the Dominican Republic in Palenque, her sister is called Chailini. They spend a lot of time out together and share pictures of themselves on social media that demonstrate their closeness.

Framber Valdez’s mother is Santa Delfina Pinales de Valdez. His mother used to work in a coffee shop where she served empanadas and juices. Valdez has achieved success in life as a result of his mother's support. As a result, he never shied away from attributing his professional success to his mother.

Framber Valdez’s father is José Antonio. Valdez has a close relationship with his father, who has always allowed him to follow his career goals. The player's father has never put any pressure on him about his career.

He says that his father is the source of his greatest strength and that he could not be a baseball pitcher without his assistance. The footballer occasionally goes out to supper with his parents, despite his hectic schedule.

Valdez’s father overcame his fear of flying while travelling from his home in the Dominican Republic to Houston. Framber Valdez, who led the Astros to a 5-2 victory in Game 2 as Houston tied the World Series at one game apiece. In 6 +1/3 innings, he struck out nine batters. His father was very happy to see his son play in the World Series, it was a dream of his father. Seeing Valdez play was the proudest moment for his father. Houston eventually won the World Series.
