He was born on November 23, 1997, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He attended Indian Trail High School and Academy in his hometown and excelled in baseball. Lux was named the Wisconsin baseball Gatorade Player of the Year in 2016 and received the Holy Rosary Sports Night Male Athlete of the Year Award.
