Harold Ramrez was born on September 6, 1994, and is a Colombian professional baseball outfielder for the Major League Baseball (MLB). He currently plays for the Tampa Bay Rays.
Harold signed as an international free agent with the Pittsburgh Pirates in July 2011. He made his professional debut in 2012 with the Gulf Coast Pirates at the Rookie level.
On August 1, 2016, the Pirates sent Harold, Francisco Liriano, and Reese McGuire to the Blue Jays in exchange for Drew Hutchison. Harold was again traded to the Double-A New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
Harold signed a minor-league contract with the Miami Marlins on November 26, 2018. His contract was selected on May 11 and he was brought up to the main league squad. He made his MLB debut against the New York Mets, hitting a single off Edwin Diaz.
On November 22, 2021, Harold was traded with the Chicago Cubs in exchange for monetary considerations. Harold was again traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in exchange for Esteban Quiroz on March 25, 2022. He was a batting title contender in the American League for much of the 2022 season.
