When it comes to MLB wives who foster an online image, Lance Lynn's wife, Dymin, is hard to beat. In honor of Father's Day, the partner of the Cardinals pitcher took to Instagram to mark the occasion in her trademark fashion.
In an array of photos to mark Father's Day, which also happens to coincide with her 42nd birthday, Lynn shared some pictures of the people who matter most to her. The series of snaps included pictures of her friends, husband and other family members, and was captioned by the phrase:
"I was born on Father's Day to humble men."
Lance Lynn married Dymin Hayes in 2020, after divorcing from his first wife, Lauren. Dymin is known for her affinity for social media, as well as her blog, titled "Dymin in the Rough." She and her husband have three children together and reside in Marion, located in southern Illinois.
For the Lynns, family plays an important role. Dymin often shares pictures of herself and her husband doing activities with their children, and even takes the occasional comedic jab at her husband on social media.
This past offseason, Lance Lynn inked a one-year, $11 million deal with the St. Louis Cardinals, the same team with whom he won the 2011 World Series. After coming off one of the roughest showings of his career in 2023, Lynn appears to have re-adjusted, and now touts a 2-3 record and 3.75 ERA across 14 starts for the Cards this season.
"Lance Lynn Strikeouts" - Legacy Looks
Now in his 13th season, Lynn is regarded as a pitching veteran with a wealth of experience in the league. However, last season, the 6-foot-5 right-hander posted a career-worst 5.73 ERA, splitting the season between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox.
Dymin remains Lance Lynn's most committed fan
With over 2.5 million posts on TikTok, it is no secret than Dymin Lynn likes to document her life. Last Thursday, Dymin was in attendance to watch Lance take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium. In a post on TikTok from the park, Dymin shared images of the various treats she was enjoying while her husband went to work on the mound.
With Lynn set to become a free agent once again after this season, there is no telling what is in store next for the family. But wherever it is, we can be sure that Dymin will be there to support her husband.
