Francisco Lindor of the New York Mets is quietly putting up one of the best seasons of his career in 2024. On the sidelines, every step of the way, has been his loving wife, Katia.
Through the highs and lows of a good portion of his career, Lindor's wife Katia has been his biggest fan. In a recent flurry of photos posted on Instagram, Katia showed that she's taking some time off from the busy schedule of an MLB wife and full-time mother.
With her husband Francisco in the midst of a series in the desert against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Katia kicked back in an undisclosed location. A native of Puerto Rico, living a life of tropical leisure is likely nothing new for Katia.
Francisco and Katia Lindor married in 2021, after welcoming their first daughter together in 2020. In 2023, the pair announced the birth of their second daughter. Although still young, both of Lindor's daughters have been spotted several times cheering on their father at New York Mets games.

Now two years into his 10-year, $341 million commitment in Queens, Francisco Lindor is putting up some very good numbers. A .270/.340/.488 hitter on the season, Lindor's 27 home runs put him on pace to match his career-high 38 bombs he recorded as a member of the 2018 Cleveland Indians.
Additionally, the New York Mets shortstop leads the National League in games played and at-bats, with 132 and 541 respectively this season.
Francisco Lindor credits wife Katia on and off the field
Whether it be travelling with her husband to the UK for the 2024 MLB London Series, or taking their daughters to countless games at Citi Field, Katia never fails to step up for her husband. As Francisco Lindor revealed to Haute Living last year, she has also helped him off of the field:
"I ask questions. I try to understand, and my wife has taught me to listen to her,. With Katia, I have learned to try to communicate a little better."
After a shaky season in 2023, Lindor appears to be back. There's no doubt that Katia's calming influence on her husband and their family played a big role.
