For Freddie Freeman and his wife, Chelsea, 2024 was certainly a year of ups and downs. Now, the pair are taking time to focus on the things that really matter, such as reconnecting with families and friends.

Although her daily tasks usually include tending to her three young sons, on Tuesday night, Chelsea traded in for a night on the town. Accompanied by her friend Lydia, Chelsea sipped wine and showed off her dazzling outfit, which included a chic pair of sunglasses.

A native of Florida, Chelsea first met her future husband Freddie Freeman in 2011. At the time, Chelsea Goff was studying at the University of Central Florida, while Freddie had just begun playing professional baseball for the Atlanta Braves. The pair were engaged in early 2014 before tying the knot in November of that year.

Freddie and Chelsea are the proud parents of three children. The first, Charlie, was born in 2016. Brandon, born in 2020, was joined by Maximus a year later via surrogacy. Chelsea has been very open about her fertility issues and has used social media to help guide other women facing similar challenges.

Before the 2022 season, Freddie Freeman signed a six-year, $162 million contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. A native of southern California, the move was a homecoming of sorts for Freddie, who hit his first career Dodgers home run against his former team.

Although the 2024 season culminated in a World Series win for Freeman's Dodgers over the New York Yankees, the year was not without struggle. In August, Maximus was put in hospital with a rare neurological disorder. Although he recovered, it was touch-and-go for a while for the Freemans, with Freddie even foregoing Dodgers' games in August to be with his ailing son.

During Max's health issues, the youngster spent eight days in the intensive care unit. After the ordeal, Freeman shared how difficult it was to witness his son go through that, telling ESPN:

"I would gladly strike out with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning in Game 7 of the World Series 300 million times in a row than see that again. But he's on his way. He's on his way. It's going to be a long road."

As everything ended up alright, Chelsea certainly has plenty to raise her glass to.
