For Freddie Freeman, his wife Chelsea, and their three young sons, the 2024 season was incredibly long. However, after coming out the other end with the ultimate prize, the Freeman's kicked off their offseason in style.
Mere hours after arriving back in Los Angeles from New York with the Commissioner's Trophy, Freddie and Chelsea Freeman took their three sons out trick-or-treating. Captioned alongside the images of a series of superheroes was "One night you're winning the World Series, the next night you're trick or treating with your kids."
The Freemans welcomed their first son, Charlie, in 2016, with sons Brandon John and Maximus Turner arriving several years later in 2020 and 2021 respectively. In March, Charlie joined his mother and father on a jaunt to South Korea as the Dodgers opened their 2024 season against the San Diego Padres at the MLB Seoul Series.
Over the summer, Maximus spent time in hospital with Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare nerve condition. The scare led Freddie Freeman to sit out several Los Angeles Dodgers games. Thankfully, the three-year old Maximus is on the road to recovery.
The day before the Freeman family went trick or treating, Freddie Freeman was crowned World Series MVP as he collected the second title of his career. In five games against the New York Yankees in the Fall Classic, Freeman hit 4 homers and 12 RBIs, including a walk-off grand slam in Game 1.

After a gruelling offseason that started earlier and ended later than any other club in MLB, the Freemans are looking forward to some downtime. What better way to kick off the offseason than some Halloween fun?

In 2024, injuries and Maximus' health took a toll on Freeman, who still only missed fifteen games out of the 162 played by LA. In addition to playing through pain the World Series, Freeman inspired his teammates in the World Series. In recent comments to US Magazine, Chelsea said:
“I’m so proud of him [from] everything that we’ve gone through as a family this year and all of his injuries. He’s Superman actually, but we’re so happy.”
With at least three years left on Freddie's deal with the Dodgers, there is no telling what summits the 2024 World Series MVP will help his team achieve down the road.
