In Pictures: Justin Verlander's wife Kate Upton returns to CR Fashion Book after 12 years as the original cover star

Kate Upton has been in the public eye for nearly two decades. While some have espoused that the supermodel's prime days are behind her, the 32-year-old continues to prove them wrong.

On Sunday, CR Fashion Book posted their latest cover, which features Upton wearing a white veil. Entitled "Love & Fantasies," Upton's appearance on the cover of the publication marks the first time in 12 years that she has worked with CR Fashion Book.

Regarded as a leading authority on fashion trends, beauty tips, and celebrity news, CR Fashion book is relied on by the top influencers in the above fields. The last time Kate Upton appeared on the cover of the publication was back in 2012, when she was just 20 years old.

In addition to her work with CR, Upton has posed for the cover of some of the most famous magazines and outlets in the world. Among the publications she has worked with are GQ, Sports Illustrated, Vogue and Vanity Fair.

In 2017, Kate Upton married Justin Verlander, whom she met while he was pitching for the Detroit Tigers. In addition to raising their daughter, Genevieve, Upton also lends her energy and creativity to several businesses, such as Vosa Spirits, a canned cocktail manufacturer based in her home state of Michigan.

The nuptials between Upton and Verlander occured in November 2017 at a lavish ceremony held at a hilltop church in Tuscany, Italy. The celebrations were held mere days after Verlander had defeated the Dodgers as a member of the Houston Astros to win the franchise's first ever World Series title.

In an interview with PEOPLE last April, the distinguised public figure spoke to her philosophy when it comes to fashion:

“I am a function [over fashion] girl for sure. Living in New York and being a mom, I need to not get the blisters and feel comfortable and confident. When you feel confident in your clothes it shows.”

With retirement likely nearing for her 41-year old husband, the family will soon embark on a new style of life together. However, it is far from likely that we have seen the last of Upton gracing front covers around the globe.
