Isaac Paredes was born on 18th February 1999, in Hermosillo, Mexico is a Mexican professional baseball infielder for the Tampa Bay Rays of Major League Baseball. He made his Major League Baseball debut in 2020 with the Detroit Tigers.

The Chicago Cubs signed Paredes an an international free agent in 2015. However, the Cubs traded Paredes to the Detroit Tigers on July 31, 2017. He was assigned to the West Michigan Whitecaps for the season by the Tigers. He batted .252 in 124 games between South Bend and West Michigan, with 11 home runs and 70 RBIs. He made his MLB debut with the Detroit Tigers on August 17, 2020.

The Tigers traded Paredes to the Tampa Bay Rays on April 4, 2022. After spending time with the Durham Bulls, he made his Rays debut on May 1 against the Minnesota Twins. In a 5-4 Rays win against the New York Yankees on June 21, he homered three times.

Paredes was chosen to play for Mexico in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. The 2023 World Baseball Classic saw Mexico perform at its best-ever level.
