Mexican professional baseball infielder Isaac Paredes was born on February 18, 1999, in Hermosillo, Mexico. He plays for the Major League Baseball Tampa Bay Rays. He made his Major League Baseball debut in 2020 with the Detroit Tigers. Paredes represented Mexico in the World Baseball Classic in 2023.


Issac Paredes was signed by the Chicago Cubs as an international free agent in 2015. He was then sent to the minor leagues.He has also played in the Mexican Pacific League. On July 31, 2017, the Chicago Cubs traded Paredes to the Detroit Tigers. The Tigers gave him a season-long assignment to the West Michigan Whitecaps. Between South Bend and West Michigan, he batted .252 in 124 games while adding 11 home runs and 70 RBIs.


Pareses was traded by the Tigers to the Tampa Bay Rays in 2022. He played for the Durham Bulls for a while before making his Rays debut on May 1 against the Minnesota Twins. On June 21, the Rays defeated the New York Yankees5-4 thanks to his three home runs.
