Jack Rafe Flaherty is a professional baseball player who plays for the Detroit Tigers in Major League Baseball (MLB). He hails from Burbank, California, and attended Harvard-Westlake School in Studio City, California. In the 2014 MLB Draft, Flaherty was picked by the St. Louis Cardinals in the first round and became the 34th overall pick.

Jack Flaherty began his Major League career with the St. Louis Cardinals on September 1, 2017, and was named to the All-MLB Second Team. He was traded to the Baltimore Orioles for César Prieto, Drew Rom, and Zack Showalter in August 2023. Later in December 2023, Flaherty signed a one-year deal worth $14 million with the Detroit Tigers. After playing for the Orioles and Tigers, he joined the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2024. In 10 games for the Dodgers, Flaherty had 6–2 with a 3.58 ERA. He pitched in the postseason, including Game 1 of the World Series, helping the Dodgers win the championship. In 2025, Flaherty again joined the Tigers for a contract worth $35 million for two years. For the United States National Baseball Team, he won a gold medal at the 2013 18U Baseball World Cup.
