Jack Roosevelt Robinson was a legend in baseball. A former second baseman, he broke the color line in baseball and inspired more African-Americans to play in MLB. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers in MLB.

He passed away on October 24, 1972, at the age of 53 in Stamford, Connecticut.
