Jacob Cozart is an American catcher who is playing his junior year of college with the NC State Wolfpack. He started playing high school baseball at Wesleyan Christian Academy where he undrafted after graduating in 2021. Cozart earned all-state honour as a sophomore and senior. Coming out of high school, Cozart had a remarkable career and selected North Carolina State University for his collegiate baseball journey.
Cozart has been a three-year starter behind the plate at NC State where he managed a starting role right into his rookie campaign. In 2022, he slashed in .240/.337/.377 with 35 hits, four home runs, and eight doubles in 170 plate appearances.
