Jarren Duran is a professional baseball player, playing as an outfielder for the Boston Red Sox in Major League Baseball since 2021. He began his baseball journey at Cypress High School, where he led his team to a CIF-SS Division 2 championship during his sophomore year. Following high school, Duran played three seasons of college baseball at California State University, Long Beach, primarily as a second baseman.

Duran was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the seventh round of the 2018 MLB Draft. Upon entering professional baseball, he played for the Lowell Spinners and Greenville Drive in 2018. In 2019, he advanced to the High-A Salem Red Sox and subsequently received a promotion to Double-A Portland Sea Dogs on June 3. Notably, Duran was named an All-Star at the Futures Game that same year. During the 2020–21 Puerto Rican Winter League season, Duran earned MVP honors in the final series while contributing significantly to Criollos de Caguas's championship victory. On July 17, 2021, Jarren Duran made his Major League debut with the Boston Red Sox. He was selected to participate in the MLB All-Star Game 2024.
