Ever since the early days of his career, Alex Rodriguez's relationships have garnered significant media attention. Perhaps, none of the star's romantic interests have been more high profile than Jennifer Lopez.

The former Yankees star dated the world-famous singer from 2017 until early 2021. Though the couple amicably decided to break things off in early 2021, A-Rod has remained complimentary of J-Lo. He told Martha Stewart on her podcast in the summer of 2022:

“Look, we had a great time, more importantly, we always put the kids front and center in everything we do. Here’s what I will tell you about Jennifer, and I was telling some of my colleagues here the other day, she’s the most talented human being I’ve ever been around.”

After her split with Rodriguez, Lopez rekindled her romance with actor Ben Affleck. However, last month, the pair announced that they would be filing for divorce after two years of marriage. This has drawn significant media attention.

Although Rodriguez, who was drafted first overall by the Seattle Mariners in 1993, has remained complimentary of J-Lo, he has also moved on. Since October 2023, Rodriguez has been dating Canadian influencer and fitness coach Jaclyn Cordeiro.

Rodriguez has two daughters, Natasha and Ella, with his first wife Cynthia Scurtis. A-Rod first met Scurtis in the early 2000s while he was playing for the Texas Rangers.

Although Lopez was often seen acting as a mother to Rodriguez's daughters, Cordeiro has adopted that role since she has been in the family. She even traveled to watch Natasha star in a production of "Oklahoma!" at her university in Michigan last year while Rodriguez remained in New York.

Although the breakup between Rodriguez and Lopez came as a shock to many, the two were very mature about the situation. As A-Rod also told Martha Stewart in 2022:

“I’m very fortunate. I wake up every morning and thank the good Lord for my health, for my beautiful daughters, who are now 17 and 14. That is my number one focus in life.”

With his new girlfriend Jaclyn, Alex Rodriguez has been able to focus on the things that matter to him most, like fitness and self-improvement.
