Jose Orlando Berrios, nicknamed “La Makina” (Spanish for The Machine), has been one of the Puerto Rican talents on display in Major League Baseball (MLB) for quite some time. Moreover, he debuted in the league with the Minnesota Twins on April 27, 2016, and represented the team until 2021.

Presently, he plays for the Toronto Blue Jays, after joining them in a trade involving Austin Martin and Simeon Woods Richardson. Berrios is a two-time MLB All-Star player (in 2018 and 2019) and also won the Gold Glove Award in 2023. Internationally, Berrios plays baseball for Team Puerto Rico.
