Joshua-Douglas James Naylor is a professional baseball first baseman for the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 2025 MLB season. He was drafted by the Miami Marlins with the #12th overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft and he mainly played in the minor leagues for the team. However, he was traded to the San Diego Padres in 2016 and made his MLB team debut on May 24, 2019. After spending two years with the team, he joined the Cleveland Indians/Guardians in 2020. He also made his MLB All-Star debut in 2024.

Before his professional career, Josh Naylor had played baseball in Canada for St. Joan of Arc Catholic Secondary School from where he was drafted. Moreover, he also played for the Premier Baseball League of Ontario (PBLO) as a member of the Ontario Blue Jays. He also represented Team Canada at the 2012 18U Baseball World Cup where he won a silver medal, the 2014 18U Baseball World Cup, where he won a bronze medal, and the 18U Baseball World Cup in 2015. Notably, he is the brother of Bo Naylor, Myles Naylor and the cousin of Denzel Clarke.
