Jung-hoo Lee is a professional baseball player from South Korea. He plays as an outfielder for the MLB side San Francisco Giants as of September 2024. Lee previously played for the Kiwoom Heroes in the KBO League. The Rookie of the Year 2017 also won the Most Valuable Player Award of the KBO League in 2022. Lee has five consecutive Golden Glove Awards to his name (2018-2022). He has also played for the national team of South Korea at the WBSC Premier12, Summer Olympics, and World Baseball Classic in 2019, 2020, and 2023, respectively.

He played for the Chunichi Dragons in Japan (1998-2001) and the Kia Tigers in the KBO League. Lee's father was known as the "Son of the Wind" for his speed and was also known as the "Korean Ichiro" and "Baseball Genius". Lee Jong-beom’s "Son of the Wind" nickname made Jung-hoo Lee "Grandson of the Wind." One of the best five-tool players in the history of Korean baseball is also the best all-around KBO player of the 1990s.

Lee Jong-beom, the 13-time KBO All-Star also has the KBO League MVP (1994) and KBO League Golden Glove Award (six times) to his name. The KBO single-season base record-holder created the record with a score of 84. He also hit .393 in a season which is the second-best all-time. The Kia Tigers retired No. 7 in 2012 to mark his achievements in the game. The two-time Most Valuable Player Award winner in the Korean Series played at shortstop as an outfielder through 1997.
