Hailing from Anaheim Hills, California, United States, Karson Blair Bowen claimed six home runs along with 46 RBIs in 56 games as a freshman for the TCU Horned Frogs in 2023. This led him to included in the Big 12 All-Freshman Team and Big 12 All Tournament Team that year alongside Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American honors. Presently, Karson Bowen is a sophomore catcher for the TCU Horned Frogs baseball team under NCAA Division I baseball program while attending Texas Christian University. Remarkably, Bowen has also represented Team USA on the international levels four times in his career.
Prior to college, Bowen had also excelled during his high school baseball career where he was declared as the Trinity League Defensive Player of the Year while with Orange Lutheran High School. Notably, he was a four-year letterwinner and was honored with a Rawlings Gold Glove as a senior during high school. Additionally, he was teammates with other notable prospects like Gabe Miranda and Louis Rodriguez.

Karson Bowen has signed only one NIL deal as part of his college baseball career till date. This deal sees him partnering with Athlete’s Thread, an online platform that consists of the largest collection of merchandise belonging to college athletes. He is using this NIL deal to sell his official t-shirts with his name and jersey number for $34.99. Every sale of this t-shirt will allow him to earn during his college days.
However, Karson Bowen has not revealed his NIL value publicly and is not present in the college baseball NIL rankings as per on3.com as of June 2024.
