Luke Patrick Stevenson is presently playing his trade as a newcomer catcher for the North Carolina Tar Heels baseball team in the NCAA Division I College Baseball program. Moreover, he has already claimed 13 home runs and hit 57 RBIs in 59 games while maintaining a batting average of .288 as of June 2024.
Prior to starting his college career, Stevenson was chosen as the 9th overall prospect from North Carolina by Perfect Game. He had also been the North Carolina Player of the Year by Prep Baseball Report in 2023 and was the 4A Northern Athletic Conference Player of the Year that same year while at Wake Forest High School. Remarkably, he was a four-year letterwinner under coach Carlos Varela and led the school baseball team to North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) 4A East Region Title.
