Matt Saw was born on November 6, 2001, in Brimfield, Massachusetts. He attended Wilbraham & Monson Academy before joining Worcester Academy. He also played collegiate baseball. He has a record of hitting 22 home runs with a batting average of .332 as a freshman at the University of Maryland. He also increased his skill by becoming the Cape Cod MVP honors. Matt Shaw also won the Brooks Wallace Award in 2023. He is one of the better hitters in the Maryland baseball team. He's also a good runner who can easily steal bases for the team.
