Michael Nelson Trout is an American professional baseball center fielder currently on the Los Angeles Angels roster of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Mike was born on August 7, 1991, in Vineland, New Jersey, to Jeff and Debbie. He has two older siblings, Teal and Tyler. Mike went to Millville Senior High School in Millville, New Jersey, and played both baseball and basketball in school.
Selected by the Angels in the first round of the 2009 MLB draft, Mike has not looked back ever since. Widely regarded as one of the best players in the league currently, Mike has won numerous accolades during his time in the majors. He is a three-time AL MVP winner, an eleven-time MLB All-Star, a whopping nine-time Silver Slugger Awardee, and twice the recipient of the Hank Aaron Award.
Mike has also captained his national team to the final of the 2023 World Baseball Classic, earning them silver.
