Mitchell Lynn Garver is a professional American baseball player who plays for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB) as a catcher.

Garver was born to parents Gail and Jerry Garver on January 15, 1991, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He went to the La Cueva High School in Albuquerque. He played baseball here, primarily as a catcher. He was also famous on the school soccer team as a center-back. He helped the soccer and baseball teams win a state championship as a junior. He was named the Albuquerque Public Schools' Male Athlete of the Year, for all his exploits in school.

Garver committed to playing college baseball for the University of New Mexico. During his time there, he also played collegiate summer baseball for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He was named a league all-star in 2012. Drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the ninth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft, Garver made his MLB debut on August 19, 2017. He got his first hit in the majors on August 20, 2017.

Garver wrote himself into the history book on July 27, 2021, when he and Tigers catcher Eric Haase hit grand slam home runs in the same game. That was incidentally the first time ever that opposing catchers hit grand slams in the same game. Garver was traded to the Texas Rangers on March 12, 2022, for the services of Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Ronny Henríquez.
