The MLB All-Star Game is officially here. Tonight (July 16), some of the world's best baseball players will face off in a test of strength. There will be plenty of action, but it's less likely to see a bevy of home runs than a normal MLB game since every pitcher is among the sport's best. With that said, there are still a few hitters capable of hitting home runs. Here are today's best bets.
Top MLB home run prop bets for the All-Star Game
3) Yordan Alvarez +550
Yordan Alvarez is among the league's best hitters, and he's more than capable of putting a mistake pitch into the seats. The only thing preventing him from having better odds is that there are two elite hitters also in the game, and he will have limited opportunities against the best pitchers in the NL. Still, the Houston Astros slugger can crush any pitch, so it would not be all that surprising to see him leave the ballpark in Arlington, Texas.
2) Shohei Ohtani +380
Shohei Ohtani is a good bet to hit a home run for the National League tonight. The Los Angeles Dodgers star leads the NL in home runs and is second in baseball, with 29 total. He will get two or three chances since he's the designated hitter, and if any American League pitcher makes a mistake, Ohtani will likely send it into the stands. The odds are a little lower since it's strength-on-strength against the best pitchers in the world.
1) Aaron Judge +350
Aaron Judge is the favorite to hit a home run in the MLB All-Star Game tonight. This should not be all that surprising, as he is the most prolific homer hitter in the sport and leads all players with 34 at the break. The New York Yankees star will likely have two chances. One of them will be against the 2023 MLB draft No. 1 pick Paul Skenes, so it's a tall task — that is why his odds aren't great even as the favorite. He's done it before, notably hitting one off of Max Scherzer in the All-Star Game in the past.
