MLB fans laud Trea Turner after phenomenal WBC 2023 performance: "Barry Bonds’ ENTIRE 2004 season"

All-Star shortstop Trea Turner delivered the finest performance in World Baseball Classic history. From the game-winning grand slam against Cuba to sending Team USA to the WBC final to joining first baseman Lee Seung-yuop with the most HRs in WBC, Trea truly displayed a power show.

Turner also joined the exclusive company behind Team USA's hitting coach, Ken Griffey Jr., with a multi-home run game.

Trea made his MLB debut on Aug. 21, 2015, with the Washington Nationals. In 2019, he won a World Series ring with the team over the Houston Astros. After playing with the organization until 2021, he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Trea Turner agreed to an 11-year, $300 million deal with the Philadelphia Phillies on Dec. 8, 2022. After his startling performance in the 2023 WBC, MLB fans are excited to see what Turner brings to the table for the Phillies.
