13 weeks into the MLB regular season, several pitchers are enjoying quality seasons. While there are still plenty of weeks remaining, it's hard to imagine any awards conversations in October not having a few of these players. Thus far, these five hurlers have been much better than their peers and are putting together dominant seasons.

5) Garrett Crochet

Garrett Crochet may not even be on the Chicago White Sox much longer, but he's been incredible. His trade value has gone through the roof thanks to 2.6 fWAR and a litany of excellent metrics: 2.36 xERA, 2.67 FIP, 12.63 K/9 and .254 BABIP. A contender might have to pay an exorbitant amount for his services this year.

4) Tyler Glasnow

Tyler Glasnow has been exactly what the Los Angeles Dodgers hoped for. The ace is striking out 12.10 batters per nine innings with a 3.00 ERA (2.47 xERA), 2.67 FIP and 2.6 fWAR. The NL Cy Young race this year is going to be interesting, and Glasnow figures to be in it all season long.

3) Ranger Suarez

Ranger Suarez is 10-1 for the Philadelphia Phillies. He also has a 1.77 ERA, 2.60 FIP and 0.52 HR/9. That has contributed to his NL-leading 2.7 fWAR, as he's been one of the league's brightest stars despite being pretty unheralded even on his own team.

2) Tarik Skubal

Tarik Skubal has been extremely effective for an otherwise poor Detroit Tigers club. He is 8-2 with a 2.20 ERA (2.51 xERA), 2.44 FIP, 10.26 K/9 and 1.67 BB/9. Skubal's 2.7 fWAR is entirely due to skill.

1) Tanner Houck

The gap between Boston Red Sox ace Tanner Houck and his companions is growing. He has a 0.5 fWAR lead over the next-closest pitcher and at 3.2 is the only hurler over three wins.

He also has a 2.08 ERA and 2.21 FIP to go with his 0.20 HR/9 rate. He's been lights out and is heading for a potential award when the season ends.
